Minnie and Ernest Tucker, mid twenties, brother and sister, live on a moorland farm in Somerset. The farm has failed and they make a meagre living taking stray bed and breakfast guests. When a couple, Ben and Carol from London book in for the night, Ernest takes a dislike to Ben.
