Palm Tree, a British film company, was formed in 1995. The company now has an established track record in independent film-making, having completed fourteen feature films in a period from 1999 to 2008.
Within the company, the producers Mairi Sutherland and Robbie Moffat come from a broadcast and drama background respectively. From 1996 Palm Tree made numerous short films, and by April 1999 was in a position to shoot its first feature film entitled Love The One You're With. The rest is history.
The catalogue of films listed in these pages have in the main been directed by Robbie Moffat and produced by Mairi Sutherland. They are all British classified films and are in the English language
This website is designed to knit together these films as a body of work. It is our hope that it generates a renewed interest in some of the earlier films and provides a snapshot of the films being made by Palm Tree on an ongoing basis.
