RED ROSE UK CINEMA RELEASE

Palm Tree’s feature, Red Rose, is going to be premiered in the UK on 19th January 2005. Starring Michael E Rodgers as Robert Burns, the picture has already been given the thumbs up by the Burns World Federation. A special screening of the film has been organised for the Federation conference in Dumfries on September 11th. Meanwhile many Burnsians from all parts of the world have contacted Palm Tree with their suggestions on how  the film can be screened in their part of the world simultaneously. Talks are also on-going in North America to secure a specialised distribution agreement that will allow American-Scots the chance to see the film before the UK dvd release on Tartan Day 2005 (April 6th).

Welcome to the second edition of Tough Cuts, the monthly newsletter from Palm Tree UK.

We aim to keep you up to date with the latest developments within the company, ranging from film festival news to the inside scoop on making movies.

Ron has spent the last thirty years working in the industry in the USA. “ I have lots of friends there and here and they are excited about my new
